About Us

Smoky Mountain Lake Adventures sits on 40 acres of beautiful lakefront property near the Great Smoky Mountains with breathtaking views and amazing wildlife. Often you will spot a Bald Eagle soaring in the sky and perhaps see a few wild turkeys wandering along the bank. It’s the perfect setting to soak up the sun on the lake and relax with friends and family.

We offer boat rentals to help you get out there and enjoy Douglas Lake. In addition to our boat rentals, we have personal watercrafts (jet skis) for rent along with water skis, wakeboards and tubes. 

Lakefront Rental Cabins

We are very excited to offer brand new rental cabins here on beautiful Douglas Lake! These fully-furnished rental cabins offer private balconies overlooking the lake. It’s the mountain lake retreat you have been looking for right here in East Tennessee!

In addition to the new rental cabins, we have private boat docks and an arcade/game room for all boat and cabin rentals.  The marina features a ship store with gas, drinks, snacks and more.

“Smoky Mountain Lake Adventures was born from our family’s enjoyment of Douglas Lake and our many adventures here. Renting lakefront cabins ourselves, we spent many of our vacations swimming, fishing and boating. Douglas Lake’s close proximity to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains provided us with endless options for fun, food and entertainment.  

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on the lake as well as the entertainment of the attractions in and around the Great Smoky Mountains. However, finding a lakefront cabin was always challenging, and we wanted to make it easier for families to access and enjoy the lake and the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains. Thus, was born the idea of Smoky Mountain Lake Adventures, a cabin and boat rental company, allowing families all the adventures of beautiful Douglas Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains.”
